Mr. Salazar has published a book which depicts his journey from Ecuador to the time he became a mathematics teacher. This inspiring publication is helps teenagers understand that the difficulties they are going through are part of a great journey.  At the same time, this book helps educators understand what students go through when they are in the classroom.  Teachers will be better equipped with a better understanding of how students get affected by teachers' practices.  With better understanding of the students skills, limitations, emotions, and experiences, all school staff will be more effective when dealing with teenagers.

On Line Resources

Many students struggle with mathematics.  The main reason for this is the lack of proficiency in the basics of Arithmetics and Algebra.  When teachers were asked what making students struggle when they start the middle school or the high school curriculum.  They all expressed that students need to enter middle and high school knowing three main areas.  The three areas that will help students transition to middle school or high school are fractions, signed numbers, and solving equations.  For this reason, we have created a series of courses that will help students be successful from the beginning of their middle school or high school career.
